Check-in and check-out

Check-in is guaranteed after 2 p.m. (unless otherwise agreed with the hotel). Check-out is by 11 a.m. If you wish to leave after this time, please contact the reception and they will inform you of the options available (additional charges apply). In case of late check-out after 11 a.m., the hotel reserves the right to charge guests for one night’s accommodation at the rates applicable for the period in question.

Food and drinks

No food or drinks are allowed in the rooms.

According to Bulgarian law, alcohol is not served to persons under the age of 18.

Smoking policy

In accordance with Bulgarian law, Hotel Diamant has a no smoking policy in all indoor areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, the restaurant, and corridors. Designated smoking areas are available in the outdoor areas of the hotel.

Dresscode

The dress code in all public areas of the hotel is informal. Guests in swimwear are not allowed in the restaurant.

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Parking

The hotel has its own parking lot. The hotel is not responsible for damage or theft of vehicles parked on the hotel premises or outside the hotel.

Luggage room

The hotel provides an unguarded luggage room, which is available 24 hours a day. Handbags and wallets are not allowed for storage.

Chambermaidservices

We offer room cleaning every day between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. If a “Do Not Disturb” sign is placed on the door by 3:00 p.m., the room will be cleaned the following day. If you need anything after 4:00 p.m., please ask at the reception desk.

Lostitems

Hotel Diamant is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. A safe is available at the reception desk. If any items are found, the hotel will send the forgotten item upon request and at the expense of the owner. Items that are not claimed within 30 (thirty) days will be donated or discarded.

Payment

According to Bulgarian law, payment is made in Bulgarian leva. The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Mastercard.

The HOTEL is the data controller for the Personal Data Protection Commission and processes the data and personal information provided in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Definitions

For the purposes of this policy and in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679:Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific and unique to his physical, physiological, psychological, economic, cultural, or social identity. The data may relate to facts (e.g., name, email address, location, or date of birth) or to an opinion about the actions or behavior of the Data Subject.
A data controller is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union law or the law of a Member State, the controller or the specific criteria for its identification may be determined by Union law or by the law of a Member State;
Personal data processing is any operation or set of operations which may be performed on personal data by automated or non-automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure or destruction.

Processing of personal data
In order to secure and improve the services we provide and for the purposes of administering the resources related to them, we store, use, and process personal data in compliance with the applicable legal requirements.

TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

The types of personal data that the controller collects and processes vary depending on the purposes for which they are collected and the grounds for their processing:
The types of data collected according to their purpose are as follows:
1. To make and confirm a reservation, the HOTEL collects and processes the following types of data:
a/ When booking via the website:
– First and last name of the contact person;
– Email address and telephone number of the contact person;
b/ When booking by telephone:
– Telephone number for feedback and email address for confirmation of the reservation
– First and last name of the contact person;
This data is stored until the reservation is completed. After that, the data is destroyed and its further processing is impossible.
2. For the purposes of accommodating guests at the HOTEL, the administrator processes and stores the following data:
– Personal identification number / foreigner’s identity number;
– Name of the person (for Bulgarian citizens – in Cyrillic, for foreigners – in Latin, according to the national document);
– Date of birth;
– Gender;
– Citizenship;
– Personal ID number/valid national identity document;
– Country that issued the national document.
The data collected for the purposes of hotel registration is collected on the basis of Art. 116, para. 2 of the Tourism Act and is necessary for keeping a register of accommodated tourists. The data is stored for a period of 5 (five) calendar years.
3. For the purposes of corporate or personal events at the HOTEL, the following data is processed and stored:
– Full name of the person organizing the event. For corporate events, the contact person designated by the legal entity organizing the event;
– e-mail address and telephone number of the contact person
This data is stored for up to 3 (three) calendar years after the event.

PRINCIPLES OF PROCESSING

When processing personal data, we adhere to the following principles:
– lawfulness – when collecting, processing, and storing your data, we comply with the provisions of applicable Bulgarian and European legislation;
– fairness and transparency – the data we collect and process is in accordance with this privacy policy, which is available to every user;
– relevance of processing to the purposes and minimization of data – the types of data we collect are limited to the minimum necessary for the purposes for which they are processed. The purposes for which your data is processed are those for which we are legally obliged, for which we have a contractual relationship, or for which we have obtained your consent;
– storage limitation – we process and store the data we receive for a period of time in accordance with the purposes for which it is needed and in accordance with your consent.

Please note that when you send an inquiry to the HOTEL (for pricing, reservations, clarification regarding an existing reservation, event planning, and/or other questions related to the services provided by the hotel) you give your consent to the HOTEL to store and process the personal data you provide for the purposes of the inquiry.
In this case, your data will be deleted in accordance with applicable law and this privacy policy.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Confidentiality of personal data
We use electronic methods for processing personal data in order to ensure accurate and fast provision of services and assistance to users.
The processing of your personal data provided to the HOTEL is carried out in accordance with the applicable legislation in the field of personal data protection, and the HOTEL respects your privacy. The HOTEL guarantees that the persons authorized by it to process personal data have undertaken a confidentiality obligation or are required by law to maintain confidentiality.

PERSONAL DATA SECURITY

THE HOTEL implements technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data you have provided from accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized access, alteration, or distribution, as well as other unlawful forms of processing by unauthorized persons. The security measures we implement are subject to continuous improvement and adaptation to the latest technologies.
The personal data collected may be provided to partners of the HOTEL who act as data processors on behalf of the HOTEL and have undertaken to comply with all applicable data protection regulations. We comply with the condition that the relevant information may only be used within the limits set by the legal basis on which it is collected or by your personal consent to the processing carried out on behalf of the HOTEL, and that this information should be treated as confidential.
The HOTEL may disclose and provide personal information in accordance with applicable law if ordered or requested to do so by a court or administrative authority, or if the provision of personal data is related to the fulfillment of a legal obligation of the HOTEL. The data collected for the purposes of accommodation at the HOTEL is accessible to third parties specified in the Tourism Act – the Ministry of Tourism, municipalities, the Ministry of the Interior, the National Revenue Agency, and the National Statistical Institute.

CONSUMER RIGHTS REGARDING THEIR DATA

1. In accordance with applicable law, you have the right to own and access the data you have provided for processing. By submitting a written request via the Contact Form on the website, you can obtain information about the type of personal data provided and the purpose of its processing, as well as request that we delete any records of your personal information, without the possibility of further processing. Upon accessing your data, you may request that it be corrected if you find any errors or discrepancies.
2. Users have the right to object to the processing of their data. The objection shall be addressed to the HOTEL in accordance with point 1 of this section. The HOTEL undertakes to consider your objection and inform you of the outcome of the internal investigation within 30 calendar days of its receipt.
3. Users have the right to lodge complaints with the competent supervisory authority. In accordance with the applicable regulations, the competent supervisory authority in the Republic of Bulgaria is the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
4. Users have the right to receive their data stored by the HOTEL in a structured, widely used, and machine-readable format. Users also have the right to transfer this data to another personal data controller without hindrance from the HOTEL in cases and with regard to data provided by consent, in cases of data provided under a contract to which the user is a party, or data provided when taking steps at the request of the user and requesting the conclusion of a contract.

CHANGES TO THE RULES FOR THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The HOTEL’s personal data protection rules may be changed unilaterally by the HOTEL with a view to improving them, offering new services, changing the way we serve and communicate with our customers, and in connection with legislative changes.
When changes are made to these personal data protection rules, the HOTEL will inform you of the changes by publishing them on our website, giving you a reasonable period of time to familiarize yourself with them. after which they will apply to the processing of your personal data without further notice. If you indicate within this period that you reject the changes, you will be deemed to have withdrawn your consent to the processing of your personal data and the HOTEL will cease processing them in the future. This may also involve the termination of your registrations for our games, services, newsletters, etc., for the purposes for which you originally provided us with your personal data.
